With almost 10 years in the Hair Extension Industry, The Russian Hair Company is ready to transform the Hair Extension Industry with a product that is rare, exclusive, and the absolute finest in the industry.

For ten years we have studied, tested, handpicked hair and travelled to many parts of the world so we can make sure the hair we provide to our customers is the most elite of all hair sold nationwide. We can happily say after combining our experience, knowledge, and hard work day and night to find this, that we have found it, and have years’ worth of customer feedback to support us when we say we have the best in the industry!

Why Are We Unique?

Most hair extension brands offer the typical Indian, Euro “Grade” and Asian remy hair extensions, imported straight from an overseas vendor, already packaged and ready to go. This hair can last a few washes before the true quality appears, and the hair needs to be replaced. At The Russian Hair Company, we have our own small team who specialise in hair collecting, sourcing the hair straight from the donor to ourselves. We receive the hair in a pony tail form, straight cut at the top, with no tipping, no chemical processing and no colouring. We then go through a quality control process, and once each bundle has ticked all the boxes, we send them off for tipping (and colouring for our coloured range), and receive them ready to be passed on to you. We keep the hair in the same pony tail that it was collected in, that way, each 25 grams you are wearing, is hair from one donor, which means you will have no tangling, no matting, and the hair will stay in its original condition for years.

We have had our hands on each strand that you apply in your client’s hair. We’ve looked at it, we have assessed it, we have confirmed it is suitable to have our name against it, and we have sold it to the customer to enjoy for a long time.

Ethical Sourcing

The Russian Hair Company is proud to offer ethically sourced hair extensions.

Unlike many other mainstream hair extension companies, we only engage in ethical sourcing practices, not cheap unethically sourced products for the mass market. Our products are high in price and high in quality, because we have built a supply chain with strong practices, importing hair in a responsible and sustainable way. We ensure that our donors are treated fairly, and all social and moral impacts are taken into consideration during the sourcing process.

Many companies sell Asian or Indian hair because in these parts of the world, people live in poverty and some, sadly, are forced to sell their hair for a small amount of money. But our hair is different: it is collected by our own small team of hair hunters who work just for us, collecting hair in an ethical manner- direct from Russian and Turkish villages and sent to us in donated batches. When it arrives, it is raw and in a myriad of different colours, lengths, textures and thicknesses which we then sort in our Sydney offices. The Russian Hair Company have had the same staff sourcing hair since 2009, which means that we are always promising consistency to our salons, our team are hair collecting experts, and we know exactly where the hair is coming from.
